Seismic is excited to announce the upcoming release of the newest addition to the ever popular Solaris line, the Solaris Platinum.
The Solaris Platinum is the 4th ball in the Solaris line and has big boots to fill with its predecessors being some of our most popular balls to date.
Although each ball in the line has had its own characteristics, the words "control" and "benchmark" are synonymous with the Solaris line.
With the Platinum, we took the original Trailblazer core specifications from the first Solaris and wrapped it with an updated version of its coverstock, called AVCx Pearl Reactive. This cover gets through the heads a little cleaner than the original, giving a little more pop on the back end. Paired with the low RG medium differential core, you will see a controllable midlane ready allowing you to take control of any medium volume oil pattern.
When to use?
The Solaris Platinum will be a great "first ball out of the bag" for most bowlers during league, a "go to" ball when the lanes are getting tough in competition, or to move to after your Dominion or Stamped start to grip too early and you want to move in a little but still not through too far from the headpin.
Which Balls will this Compliment the Most?
In tournament play, the Solaris Platinum should be in the bag with the Stampede and Venator. Once the pattern breaks down and you start moving left, the Solaris Platinum will help you clear the heads with ease, but also not over react in the midlane or once it encounters the dry boards downlane.
